Vessel Description

The Pacific Bluefin is a classic cold molded convertible/sportfisher built by Amapala Marine on the island of Amapala in Honduras. This particular vessel was purchased in 1998 by her current owners and has been well maintained throughout their stewardship. She has a beautiful interior of solid Honduran rosewood, with joinery that is reminiscent of that found in Far East trawlers - which is not surprising when we learn that John Newton, the man behind Amapala Marine, was also the founder of American Marine and the Grand Banks line.

New Yanmar 250hp diesels were installed approximately 8 years ago, plus new fuel tanks and all peripherals.
