Adhara is a well maintained sloop from the drawing table of legendary Sparkman & Stephens naval architect firm. Known as S&S design #1959 she was built in the UK by Winfield and Sons, and imported to the US and sold as the Palmer & Johnson 34. This design was also the precursor to the Swan 36. Just 2 owners. The current owner has had her for 16 years and continually maintained and upgraded her; New standing rigging (2018), New running rigging (2021), Transmission rebuilt in 2020, Furuno and Garmin electronics, Pelagic Tiller Autopilot, Hydrovane wind vane, 145 watts of solar, 2 new Harken 42 primaries in the cockpit - just a partial list of inventory and amenities.
